About the video’s creator:

Edward Bauman is a Brazilian living abroad in Vancouver, British Columbia. He is a Sound Designer for movies and video games and also a musician, being a member of a rock band.
He was born in 1987 with aortic stenosis and a bicuspid aortic valve, which was stable to moderate until April 2017. The severity of the valve’s condition was discovered during a regular checkup for a permanent residency application to stay in Canada.
After a few months of waiting and a few doctor visits, his open heart surgery, to insert a On-X mechanical heart valve, took place at St Paul’s Hospital, performed by Dr. Jamil Bashir. It all went very well, and now Edward continues to work as a Sound Designer and has returned to regular life activities.
