We have some fantastic news to share with all of you! After a hiatus, we are thrilled to announce the triumphant return of Conquering CHDs National Committees. These dedicated committees are the heart and soul of our organization, and they play a vital role in our mission to support those affected by congenital heart defects (CHDs).
If you’re interested in getting involved with any of these committees, want to learn more, or wish to apply, please see our National Committee page for details.
Here’s a quick overview of the committees making a comeback:
Advocacy Committee: Advocacy is at the core of what we do. This committee will continue to be the driving force behind our efforts to influence public policy, raise awareness, and ensure that the CHD community’s voice is heard.
Education Committee: Knowledge is power, and this committee is dedicated to providing valuable resources and information to our community. From webinars to informative articles, they are committed to spreading awareness and understanding.
Transition/Lifelong Care Committee: Transitioning from pediatric to adult care can be a daunting journey. This committee will provide guidance and support for families and individuals navigating this critical phase of life.
Research Committee: Research is crucial for advancing our understanding of CHDs. Our Research Committee will drive initiatives aimed at funding and promoting groundbreaking studies that can improve the lives of those with CHDs.
Fundraising Committee: Fundraising is essential to sustain our mission. This committee will organize exciting events and campaigns to generate the resources needed to make a difference in the lives of those affected by CHDs.
Community Committee: Building a supportive and caring community is what Conquering CHDs is all about. The Community Committee will focus on creating opportunities for families, patients, and supporters to connect online and with their local centers
We are truly excited to see these committees back in action, working tirelessly to enhance the lives of those affected by CHDs. Our goal is to create a strong, supportive, and informed community where no one feels alone on their CHD journey.
