Registration is required for all portions of the Conquering CHD Virtual Advocacy Conference. There are three ways to participate:

Advocacy Conference + Pre-Conference Health Disparities Meeting

  • $25.00 per attendee
  • This ticket includes virtual admission to pre-conference meeting, advocacy conference day one, and advocacy conference day two (legislative visits)
  • Due to the cost of scheduling visits, registration is non-refundable after January 1, 2021
  • Attendance at Advocacy Conference day one is required to participate in Advocacy Conference day two

  • $25.00 per attendee
  • This ticket includes virtual admission to advocacy conference day one and advocacy conference day two (legislative visits)

Virtual Instructions

The Pre-Conference Health Disparities Meeting and Advocacy Conference Day One will be held over Zoom. Click here for tech tips to make sure your experience goes smoothly.

 

Zoom
You will need to join the Health Disparities Meeting and Conference Day 1 events using the Zoom computer application (or through a web browser). The mobile phone app may not correctly display all meeting functions. If you don’t already have one, you can create an account and download Zoom for Mac or PC. You can find Zoom’s FAQs and Getting Started resources here. Meeting links and more technical tips will be sent to attendees prior to the conference.

 

GoTo Meetings
Soapbox is the consulting firm that schedules your virtual Legislative visits. They will utilize the GoTo Meetings platform for group training and all virtual meetings with lawmakers. You can download the desktop version of GoTo Meetings and find technical tips here. Meeting links and more technical tips will be sent to attendees prior to the conference.

Advocacy for Kids

Virtual programming and materials for junior advocates ages 5-12 are available by clicking on Echo the Owl. Advocates ages 13+ are encouraged to attend the full virtual conference with a parent/guardian.
